The Ashampoo Photo Commander 10 comes with an advanced full screen mode. Within the Ashampoo Photo Commander 10`s powerful full screen mode you can even edit your photos. It gives you the possibility to present your image files in an eye catching way through several different transition effects. Further, the full screen mode can too be used for watching video files in a TV style manner.

 

 

To enter or exit the full screen mode just press the Alt + Enter key simultaneously on your keyboard, or press the wheel on your mouse. Alternately you can click on “Fullscreen” command from the Common menu. When switching to full screen mode all other executed applications and the windows taskbar itself are hidden. The background is filled with solid black color and only the current media file is shown (presented). When you switch to the full screen mode, a wizard opens that welcomes you to the full screen mode and points out the functions. If you don’t need the wizard, just uncheck the box at the bottom of the window.

 

All controls and tools of Ashampoo Photo Commander 10 also work in the full screen mode You can zoom into images/videos by pressing the left mouse key and scroll with the mouse wheel. The presentation mode can be ended by pressing the ESC key.

 

Tip: You can also enter or exit the full screen mode by clicking your mouse wheel.

To display the controls just move your mouse to the edges and bottom of the screen: The mouse tools bar provides access to a set of powerful tools for enhancing your images. Everything is done with the mouse, with controls displayed when you select the tools. This bar is only available when viewing images.

 

 

Display size

Moving your mouse to the upper edging the size bar appears. The - zooms out, the + zooms in and the 1 : 1 shows the picture in its genuine size.

Navigate

If you move your mouse to the left or right border or your screen, arrows appears which enable you to move to the last (left) or next (right) picture.

Moving your mouse to the bottom edging of your screen this little but smart menu will appear. The functions from left to right:

 

The Play symbol starts a slideshow.

 

The X cancels the full screen mode.

 

The gear-wheel starts the settings menu of the full screen mode.

The left / right arrows move to the previous / next picture.

 

The curved arrows rotate the picture left / right by 90 grade

 

 

Tool bars

When you move your mouse to the top margin, tool bars appear which you can also access in the overview mode. With those you will easily edit and optimize your images any time. Depending on whether it is an image or a video the available tools may vary.

 

Playing a movie in Presentation Mode

If you play a video file in full screen mode, you’ll see on the bottom the Video control bar giving you the possibility to pause or stop the playing movie, adjust the volume or step through the video frame by frame. If you do not move the mouse for at least three seconds, the video control bar will be hidden unless you move your mouse again.  Again on the right: The View Bar provides access to commands needed for viewing your videos, like Next and Previous.

 

 

Tip: You can configure the Ashampoo Photo Commander 10 to always load files in Presentation Mode instead of using the Viewing Mode. To do this, go to the application’s setting’s Presentation tab and check the options “Always start in Presentation Mode”.
