Print images in a batch The Ashampoo Photo Commander 10 offers the possibility to print many image files at once using the same printing options for all images. The batch print tool can be found in the applications Tools menu or in the Common tab in the drop-down menu of the Print function. Just click on Print Photos in a Batch… to start the function.

Add files (Step1)

General Options
· | Add Files: Add/Remove files to/from the list of files that should be printed.
|
· | Move Up/Down: This is used to select in which order files should be processed.
|
· | Remove selected: Removes the all selected files from the processing list.
|
· | Remove all: Clears the list completely.
|

Customize settings (Step2)
General Options
· | Orientation: Use Portrait or Landscape according to your needs.
|
|
|
Style
· | Fit image to page: Fill the whole page and maintain the aspect ratio of the image (the default style).
|
· | Stretch image to page: This option will stretch the whole the selected image to the page.
|
· | Original size (DPI): Within this print option you can specify the width and height of the image in percent values.
|
· | Specified size (cm/in): Here you can set the specific width and height of the image in centimeters or inch. This is useful when printing covers and similar, as you will want to specify the exact size the image then should have on the paper.

Multiple Pages/Frames in File
· | Print on multiple pages (vertically/horizontally): The image is printed to multiple pages.
|
· | Print all pages/frames: With this option enabled, all pages in a file (eg: Multipage TIF) will be printed in batch!

Text
· | Print Header: Here you can type in any Header and specify the used font, font color and font size. Use the font button to select font color and size.

· | Print Footer: Several options that allow you to specify that additional information like the filename, image attributes and the file date should be printed below the image. Use the font button to select font color and size.

Hint: The Ashampoo Photo Commander 10 does take care automatically of transparency and alpha channels when printing to white paper!
Hint: Printing Thumbnail sheets is possible, too. Look into the applications Tools menu for the command “Create Thumbnail Sheet”!
Hint: When working in Browser Mode: Select items in the Content View or the Playlist Window before you open the Batch Print tool to have it work on the selected items!
