The print dialogue was designed for quick results. After you’ve chosen your picture, select the format on the right (see red frame) and your printer and click on Print to start the process.

The print dialog provides a comfortable print menu including the most important options. The selection of a printer, number of copies and selection of a format on the right hand side are key features. If you installed several printers, just click in the field below Printer and select the printer you would like to use from the list.

In the field behind Copies you can enter the number of copies (if differing from the default value 1) you would like to print.

The selections of format on the right (see red frame) provides a collection of common photo album formats. Just select the desired format, click on print and you are done.

If you need more printing options, please have a look at the Classic Print dialog.

If you check the box in front of Optimize Colors (see picture below), an optimization with just one click is carried out. It might be worth a try!

If the box in front of Print Date is checked (see image below), the date when the photo was taken is printed, too.

Crop to fit / shrink to fit

If you select Crop to Fit, then the selected image will have no margin and covers the space optimally. Overlapping margins will be cut off.

If you select Shrink to Fit, then the selected image will be completely fit into the available space so that white margins might appear, if the photo is not the same as the selected format.
