The Ashampoo Photo Commander 10 can create a Photo Album for the web by generating small preview images and linking them into html files. The Create Photo Album Assistant can be found in the applications Assistant menu. Use this tool to give your friends around the world the possibility to view your photos on your personal website.

 

 

Add files (Step1)

General Options

 

· Add Files: Add/Remove files to/from the list of files that should be sent.

 

· Move Up/Down: is used to select in which order files should be processed.

 

· Remove selected: Removes the all selected files from the processing list.

 

· Remove all: Clears the list completely.

General Options

 

· Filename: Type the filename of the html file that will start the Photo Album (the “start page”).

 

· Directory: Set the location where all generated files will be placed.

 

· Format: Choose among the three internet file formats to store the preview images in.

 

 

 

 

   

Output type

 

· Create an album: This will create an index page listing all preview images. Upon clicking on one of the preview images, it will be displayed in the same window but in full size with additional Next/Prev buttons enabling to go through the images step by step.

 

· Create a listing: This will create an index page listing all preview images. Upon clicking on one of the preview images, it will be displayed in a new window where as the window has the size of the displayed image and hides all unnecessary interface controls. For example, use this type if you want to create a screenshot listing on your website!

 

 

   

Processing options

 

· Thumbnail size: Specify the size of the thumbnails in pixels where the preview images will be drawn to.

 

· Filename suffix: Specify the suffix that will be appended to each filename of the preview image files. For example, if the original file is called “MyPhoto.jpg” and the suffix is “preview” the preview filename will become “MyPhoto_Preview.jpg”.

 

· Background Specify the color that will be used as thumbnails background color.

 

· Title: Type text that will be displayed as header on every page.

 

· Columns: Specify the number of images to be displayed on every column in the index page.

 

· Rows: Specify the number of images to be displayed in every row in the index page..

 

· Start Browser after Creation finished: If enabled, your default Internet Browser will display the Photo Album after creation finished.

 

· Background : Specify the background color to be used for all websites.

 

· Show file name: If enabled, at the bottom of each preview image its filename is written.

 

· Show image attributes: If enabled, at the bottom of each preview image its image attributes are written.

 

· Show file size: If enabled, at the bottom of each preview image its file size is written.

 

· Show file date: If enabled, at the bottom of each preview image its file date is written.

 

· Text: Specify the text color that will be used on all websites.

Hint: When working in Browser Mode: Select items in the Content View or the Playlist Window before you open the Create Photo Album tool to have it work on the selected items!
Hint: The Ashampoo Photo Commander 10 does take care automatically of transparency and alpha channels when generating preview images for the web!
