You can use these options to clearly arrange and show large media collections.

(Description of the functions from left to right)

· All types – This option defines which types of media (pictures, movies, etc.) are displayed by Ashampoo Photo Commander 10.

· Ignore rating – This option defines which pictures are shown according to the 5 star rating system.

· Not older than – This option defines which media files are show according to their creation date.

Usage of the checkbox options: Mark the check boxes to display only these media types (multiple choice is possible!).This is a great function, if you are only looking for a certain media format.

Usage of the search fields: Another great way to filter only certain files is to use the search field. There you can enter either a file name or IPTC/EXIF data and only media that fit to the search criteria will be displayed.

Adjust views

Photo Commander trenner Content View Toolbar

The Ashampoo Photo Commander 10 can save a certain type of view for each directory. When you would like to do that, you can adjust this in the Quick view mode configuration (see config above). There you can determine which style should be used to view the current folder. If you want to undo the display style selection, you can just select “Delete Save Style for this Folder” to undo the previous selection.

Example: If you usually use the thumbnail style to display files from folders, you can for example use the detailed style for a folder  that contains only audio files. Just select the folder and click on “Save Audio-Folder style for this folder” in the configurations/settings.
