The Ashampoo Photo Commander 10 offers the possibility to batch edit IPTC meta data for as many files at you like. In general adding IPTC meta data to your images will simplify detection or grouping of pictures with your photo collection.The Edit IPTC meta data tool can be found in the applications Tools menu.

 

 

 

Add files (Step1)

General Options

 

· Add Files: Add/Remove files to/from the list of files that should be sent.

 

· Move Up/Down: is used to select in which order files should be processed.

 

· Remove selected: Removes the all selected files from the processing list.

 

· Remove all: Clears the list completely.

 

 

Set Options (Step2)

 

Fill and edit the below shown fields to add meta data information according to your needs to the images of your choice defined in step 1 of this wizard.

After you are done the press Next to begin processing your files. The more meta data you supply the easier is will be to find your files within growing photo databases in the future.

Processing options are self explanatory.

 

· Delete all meta data first (EXIF/IPTC/JPEG Comment)

 

· Use empty fields to delete existing entries (default to change entries)

 

· Overwrite existing entries with new data (default to change entries)
