The Ashampoo Photo Commander 10 contains a special tool for applying lossless image transformations for files that use the JPG file format. The Lossless JPG Transformation tool can be found in the applications Tools menu (hot key: Shift+6).

 

This tool is only available when the current media file is of JPG file format (*.jpg). It allows you to apply commands like rotate or mirror to your photographs stored on disk without any loss of image quality (also known as Lossless JPG Rotation).

General Options

 

· Add Files: Add/Remove files to/from the list of files that should be sent.

 

· Move Up/Down: is used to select in which order files should be processed.

 

· Remove selected: Removes the all selected files from the processing list.

 

· Remove all: Clears the list completely.

Options

 

· Rotate based on EXIF orientation: If your camera has the ability to identify the position in which a photo was taken and saves that in the EXIF data, Ashampoo Photo Commander 10 will rotate the images and turn them the right way.

 

· Mirror: Mirrors the image horizontally.

 

· Flip: Flips the image vertically.

 

· Rotate 90° left: Rotates the image by 90° to the left.

 

· Rotate 90° right: Rotates the image by 90° to the right.

 

· Rotate by 180°: Rotates the image by 180°.

 

· Transpose: Transpose the image around the X-axis.

 

· Transverse: Transverse the image around the X-axis.

Note: Any JPG transformation like rotate will be applied to the image file immediately. There is no need to save changes as it is a lossless transformation thus not creating any loss of image quality.
