Resize image

It’s typical for Ashampoo Photo Commander 10 to be able to access several function with just one click. In this menu you can adjust and resize the image and canvas size, but you can also just select some classic aspect ratios automatically. No matter whether you want to see you image in the classic 16:9, zoom in or out, use a common screen resolution format or a photo format. Everything with a click of your mouse!
Change the size of an image As you can see in the dialog below you can resize the image in either pixel, percent, centimeters or inch metrics systems. By ticking the box next to Lock ratio you have to enter the new width of the image and the new height will be calculated automatically. Within the resizing filter selection drop-down box you can select the conversion algorithms which is used for the resizing.
Resize Canvas The resize canvas function is used to to resize images on a canvas without changing the ratio of the original image. The width and hight of the canvas is either increased or decreased. If the size is increased, the new margin is filled with the current Fill Color. To change the Fill Color just click on the color button at the bottom of the dialog window. The position of the image on the new canvas can be adjusted with the function Image Position. See also Resize canvas for more information.
