The basics / First start
Ashampoo Photo Commander 10 has a very intuitive to use interface that allows users to access all important functions and information in various tabs. This way all available functions are displayed and can be used easily. Most functions are self-explanatory so that you will barely need to have a look at the manual. The full view mode provides several cool transition effects from one image to the next.
The Ashampoo Photo Commander 10 is a strong and fast viewer and player for the most common audio, video and image file formats. This section of the help will introduce you to the basics of managing your digital media files with the Ashampoo Photo Commander 10. It basically works in three different modes. Each of these modes has its own specialities and advantages.
Please keep in mind that not every single function can be explained in this help file. Otherwise this document would be much bigger than the application itself. Most of the functions are self-explanatory and a basic explanation will appear in the moment the mouse is held above the icon of the feature (s. picture below). First Start
The first screen that appears is the Welcome Wizard. The Welcome Wizard helps familiarize you with some of the basic options step by step to make the most efficient use of the .
Welcome The first step is the introduction of the Welcome Wizard that explains the functions of this assistant and informs you about the configurable settings.
File Types
With Ashampoo Photo Commander 10 you may associate supported file formats Ashampoo Photo Commander 10 is the control center for all your media files – photos, videos and audio. In addition to managing, viewing and listening to all these files it can also perform the most common editing tasks so that almost always you can do everything you want without ever switching to another program. You also have the chance to associate formats to the application at a later stage. To do this go to the Configuration menu and choose the Settings entry to apply changes to the Associations.
Languages
Now select the language you would like to use within Ashampoo Photo Commander 10. The language can be changed any time in the settings.
Layout
Now select the layout type you would like to use within Ashampoo Photo Commander 10 and your done configuring the application. You should set the layout type according on how you use the most. So if you Manage and Organize most of the time you should choose the corresponding option. Of course you can set the all options again using the settings dialog or from within the view as well as the settings menu.
